The tide is out at Marazion, Cornwall and people are walking along the causeway to St Michael’s Mount.

The island can only be reached by boat at high tide. In my photo there are rock pools in the foreground covered in seaweed. People are walking along the causeway or on the sand. In the distance the castle is at the top of the island surrounded by trees, gardens and houses. The cloudy with patches of blue sky add to the atmosphere of the island. The castle is topped with a flag.

A beautiful morning on the Llangollen Canal near Ellesmere, with narrowboats echoing the colours of autumn. This is a favourite spot of mine, especially at this time of year when the beech trees along the towpath turn a glorious shade of red and gold. #Shropshire

The grey clouds are hanging low the fells. The patch of blue sky and clouds are reflected on the lake as are the surrounding fells. The ripples on the water are causing a lot of distortion to the reflection.
