Nikon Z8 and 100 to 400mm S.

When shooting at the longer end, front to back compression takes place meaning the backdrop is pulled much closer to the front of the photo and almost enlarged. On a wide angle lens from this distance, Arthur's Seat would be absolutely tiny. Science, I don't get it 🤣🤣

About 8 miles further south from Craigmiller. A few miles south of North Middleton and very close to the start of the Scottish Borders. Used a 400mm to bring Edinburgh to me 🤣

Mile or so south of North Middleton. On some random badkroad that eventually leads to Leadburn via The Meldons I think.

It's always a good drive around sunrise and sunset cloud depending.
