Many people say they haven't seen someone dodge bullets as well as I dodge bullets. Antifa send their best snipers but they can't get me because I'm too nimble.

When I said we weren't here to be disappointed with Labour but to replace them. I meant it.

Labour has a green problem
robert24039377.bsky.social
A rational person would think two (nominally) leftwing parties would work together towards shared interests.
Instead Labor prefers the "sensible" L-NP to work with rather than the "extreme" Greens - the "sensible" party of Howard, Abbott, Morrison and Dutton.

This way Labor can cosplay as the progressive party while pretending to hit roadblocks while pursuing their agenda.

Richard Deniss talks about this phenomenon a lot. It's based on the myth of "sensible centrism". They marginalise the Greens as the radical fringe and elevate the Libs as the serious "party of govt" to be negotiated with. They give them veto power and pretend they can't do more even tho they tried.

They negotiated with the Libs? Please say no...

Managing my chronic fatigue seems to require the arcane art of chilling the f*** out when my mind and body are sick.

This would be a lot easier with UBI.

Abled folk who think being in the office for 9 hours a day automatically means they “work hard”…

I’ve worked in that environment… I know it’s bullshit, and that many haven't done a day of proper hard work in their lives.

Doing a shift on a good day is nothing compared to surviving on a bad day.

They have no f'ing idea.

If they think work is hard, they should try a debilitating chronic illness for a while and see which they prefer.

As a disabled person I am not “insulted” by the tiny number of folk circumventing the system…

I’m insulted by disability benefits being less than a liveable amount.
By the process being inaccessible and harming vulnerable people.

By ableists making ableist assumptions.

If you're struggling to afford groceries, have you considered offshoring your profits to a network of shell companies to minimise taxable income?

The 5% home deposit scheme illustrates everything that is wrong about the Labor government.

The Portland Frog army has now infiltrated Tulsa, OK and they’ve made an unlikely alliance with the T-Rex infantry and Sharks on Hoverboards mercenary forces.

This is truly terrifying.

I once waited 1 hour for a GP appointment.
She's a very nice person, just not very punctual.

And the govt is doing FA about it.
