DBL Press Release after the Mayor’s team presents his final bond project list to Council tonight.
The guy drove up onto the sidewalk and flattened this sign, then just drove off. I was riding the other way and I saw him careening back across the road toward me and started to bail before he regained control.
I almost got run over by a maniac in a 2500 this morning.

If the Josh Kraft campaign or superpac is going to unsolicitedly text me their nonsense about bike lanes in Boston, I sure as hell am going to text them back pictures of the dead.
I’ve consoled hundreds because of our unsafe #Boston roads.
Kick rocks.

Though I might need to don the TU vest again and put a plasma cutter to these horizontal bars ruining bike racks across the city.
It’s a beautiful evening in Denver, so I decided to take the long way home and ride around some neighborhoods I rarely visit. Rolled up to new-to-me Longtable Brewhouse and knew I was in the right spot @thewaroncars.bsky.social
Colfax BRT is really happening, and I couldn’t be more excited! This is the first canopy structure that I’ve seen, and it feels like they’re making really good progress.
Still wish there was bike infra included as part of the project tho…

Before (2020) / After (2025) the Rue aux Ecoles Rue Charles Baudelaire in the 12th arrondissement of Paris. This street school was done in 2022, and is still one of the most picturesque.
This Thursday at noon, as part of the AIA Colorado COTE Committee, I'll be presenting on passivhaus with three other local architects. I'll cover its growth in Canada (BC) & in the US (east coast) and the state of policy in North America.

Did you convince Hank Azaria to do the recording?
Damnit. I was on vacation and am just seeing this.
Huge loss for Colorado. Thanks for helping me understand transportation in this state as a newcomer 7 years ago.
Best of luck!

Back on the beat with a story about a dramatic upzoning for Cambridge. It's now legal to build up to four stories, by right, citywide, with an affordable-bonus up for two more stories.

How Cambridge leapfrogged every YIMBY reform to build Haussmann for Harvard:

How Upzoning in Cambridge Broke the YIMBY Mold
By making buildings up to four floors legal by right across the city, the hometown of Harvard and MIT has set a new benchmark for the abundant housing movement.

Hurrah, thrilled to see PHN on here!
Really fun seeing everyone, even if I was underdressed. Hooray for cafes in parks!
