The guy drove up onto the sidewalk and flattened this sign, then just drove off. I was riding the other way and I saw him careening back across the road toward me and started to bail before he regained control.

Michelle Wu's bike lanes are a disaster.
Bike lanes make traffic worse. They're inconvenient for seniors and families.
They harm small businesses. Most are permanently installed, even though it's too cold to ride four months a year.
And yet, Mayor Wu has spent millions of your tax dollars on these bike lanes, despite strong community opposition.

Colfax BRT is really happening, and I couldn’t be more excited! This is the first canopy structure that I’ve seen, and it feels like they’re making really good progress.
Still wish there was bike infra included as part of the project tho…

Before (2020) / After (2025) the Rue aux Ecoles Rue Charles Baudelaire in the 12th arrondissement of Paris. This street school was done in 2022, and is still one of the most picturesque.
