That's one of the flaws of Bluesky, people can add you to malicious lists, and blocking them doesn't seem to stop it. On old Twitter, blocking removed you from people's lists and it should be the same here. It's a recipe for targeted harassment.

There are certainly some radical Israelis, the far-right religious Zionists who want to take ALL of the indigenous Jewish land, not just the portion the UN agreed they could have for a refuge state. But since it's a democracy with free speech, there's not really a way to forcibly change them.

Actually it's the Palestinians who have been acting like Russia. They insist that they have a right to destroy the neighboring state because it's "not a real state, not a real people," exactly like Russia says about Ukraine. Hamas invaded Israel, not the other way around.

Tell it to Hamas, who put in their Charter that the reason they have a claim to the land is that the Islamic Prophet's Companions conquered it when they came from the Arabian Peninsula in a wave of conquest. The non-Jewish native Canaanites converted and assimilated and identify as Arabs now.

Hamas needs to understand what it means that Trump has declared he ended this war and deserves the Nobel for it. If they fuck that up for him, it will be considered a personal slight by a very malignant narcissist, and it will not end well for anyone.

Hamas needs to understand that this isn't the old, rules-based America they've always dealt with before, that responds to their betrayals with stern disappointment. This man is straight-up murdering Venezuelan fishermen. He already bombed Iran. He would absolutely put US boots on the ground in Gaza.

If Hamas thinks they can renege on the deal, stay in power in Gaza, and refuse to disarm, well what the hell did they think the US troops were going to Israel for? 200 can become 2,000 or more. However many it takes to secure his peace prize.

Palestinians aren't asking to be considered citizens of Israel. They want their own state. They just can't have it on land that is already someone else's state, at least not without making a treaty to that effect with that state.
