JUST IN: Evacuation Warnings have been issued in Los Angeles County in California for ALL burn scar areas ahead of the incoming storm system which could bring dangerous flooding and significant debris flows around the burn scars.
If you live around the burn scars of Los Angeles County, officials are encouraging you to evacuate.

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?

I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

There are people out there who just want to make others miserable because it gets them something. Maybe it's a thrill, an agenda, or they are just that miserable they need to make others feel small. But I believe that there are a lot of people who are just scared and anxious to the breaking point

More and more I feel like people just assume the worst in others. A simple mistake and someone is blowing up in your face. More people make long multi posts to over explain in case someone misinterpreted. Just plain not saying something because you know the scent of negativity will get dog piled.
