If you look at the architecture in Sellia some of it is Nokstella buildings, perhaps exposed after the rot burned away all the dirt. I spent way too much time convinced there was a path there when trying to access the Moghwyn palace.

I have hit the point in Path of Exile endgame where I can juice the content to its limit but it will take me a stupid amount of farming to get equipment that can handle it. I might need to resort to trading with other players.

It has become increasingly difficult to find the experience where you arrive at some isolated location and discover a large obelisk or door with symbols that indicate you must traverse the area to activate all of them.

Pretty confused by how TRON became a big-budget movie franchise. Was it a bit hit when it came out? No. Did it become a big hit on video/TV? Also no. Do people have fond nostalgic memories of it? Eh kinda but not really. Was it secretly great and critically acclaimed? No again

Difficulty means different things for each game - and easy/hard mode has different implications for something like Dark Souls compared to the escalating difficulty tiers of Diablo. It can't be forced into a morality box without the morality part consuming the entire discourse.

"media literacy" is a big buzzword in regards to this idea that someone can watch a movie or read a book "correctly" and I think this attitude has thrived in videogames spaces because it feels like it can be implemented when the artform provides rewards based on performance.

Because at the end of the day both sides of the git gud war are motivated by enforcement of a kind of classism rooted in how you play videogames. Because as a culture we are obsessed with Achievement.
