Look at music creation tech - Ableton Push, HiChord, the Orchid. Where is the equivalent of the 'ideas machine' for writers, storytellers etc?

And yes, I know that it's not for lack of ideas - the economics just don't seem to support it. But still. *So* much opportunity to explore here.

And, y'know, the links between the intangible things. Not just a standalone replica, which, because the links aren't there, is basically inanimate, so you're always bounded by the possibilities of the 'real' equivalent.

@adrianhon.bsky.social @suw.bsky.social (apols for butting in, but just to say: yes, and...) ... that whole scene of small, varied gatherings were *incredibly* formative for meeting folk, especially as someone just starting out.

Though I'm sure there was also plenty of negative behaviour too 😢
