Is the United States an oligarchy?

Yes. Yes it is.

Sunny Hostin to Cheryl Hines: "The problem is that your husband is the least qualified HHS head that we've had in history. I think that's very dangerous. He has spread a lot of misinformation, chaos, and confusion."

This deserves more attention. North Carolina wiped out $6.5 Billion in medical debt for 2.5 million residents. Less than 1/3 of what we paid to bail out Argentina.

I still have my first home's number stuck in my brain, which of course my parents made me memorize - though it still has its exchange name abbrev: GR22904.

I also have a few other significant *current* numbers memorized in case I lose my phone. I've never lost my phone, but you never know.

What a b----!!

(I jest.)

What was the IV for?

Armond's 12/20 case was a nightmare 🥺 but his second last year was like a very mild cold. #SoOnceAgain #FuckRobertFKennedy

Thanks, love.

I actually feel mostly fine, maybe a tad tired, but the smell thing is bugging this perfume freak.

(But there are worse things, and it'll right itself eventually...)

Huh. I think all the tests we have are expired. I'll have to pop up to the urgent care tomorrow (a block away) to get tested - not 'cos this is urgent, but 'cos it's easy.

I *am* one of the few people I know that hasn't had it yet.

Thank gods this is post-vaccine, and not pre, like A.'s 2020 case.

I think it's possible that I had a mild case of COVID without knowing it. 😱

For week-ish, stuff has smelled & tasted kindof funny to me. I chalked the dysosmia up to my recent usage of Mederma on my facial surgery scar & the taste thing didn't register as I've always gone in & out of liking foods.

🧵 Important thread re: the threat to US Dept of Education special ed funds. (Trump has stated on more than one occasion that special needs children - including that of his own family - should be left to die. He also believes this about disabled adult Americans.) #WhatADelightfulMan 🥺

If any child in your life has an IEP or 504 plan:

Trump fired (we think) all of the employees in the office at the US Department of Education that disburses special education funds from the federal government that school districts use to pay for those plans.

David began running in the scorching sun after the car and watched as it disappeared from sight—soon headed to a Louisiana ICE prison.

Here's their story.
