Yeah, I would totally buy follow up books that go into 8x16 and 16x16 fonts, lol

Very good book. Read the whole thing a while ago and it is also a nice reference when making your own fonts for sure.

Indeed. The thing is that if someone ACTUALLY would do something like this they can get fined and/or put in jail depending on the country they are in. Plus bickering at people online generally not fruitful anyway.

Ok we have liftoff! (Still have to tweak the controls a lot, and wait for more parts before putting it together properly)

I guess you are living in one of those typical Dutch places with very narrow staircases? But good job on getting an arcade cab :D

A bunch of sketchbook doodle pages from the last few days. Feels really good drawing on actual paper again, something I want to do WAY more of. Very out of practise, still feels a bit wonky, but getting back into the groove slowly feels nice.

A few last minute edits, and my little 32x32px Doom sprite collection is complete. ✌️
(mostly) 32x32px fan sprites of the classic Doom monsters. The Cyberdemon is 40x40px; the Spider Mastermind is 64x40px.

I have actually done some doodling on paper recently, might post later.

Or like 4 or so indie games.

I think I see what you mean. The last few episodes were mostly tying off knots of the plot, which was needed, but most of the actually interesting stuff happened somewhat earlier.

Very good rule, for sure. Better Call Saul is excellent, imo even better than BB in a lot of ways. Enjoy :D

then picotron might be fore you. higher res and there are ways to define the palette which is also bigger.

Nice edits. Though I feel that Dracula lost some of his ferocity and looks a tad less crazed.

Basically a bunch of abstract ink doodles on paper, scanned, and each put on its own layer. Then I just played around with blend modes and transparency, reordering layers, turning certain layers off, zoom in, find interesting compositions and just do select & merged copy. And then go from there.
