Current #Minecraft projects are building building a city for illagers, and my base, and gradually trying to build an apartment building.
A large, colourful base of operations can be seen made mostly of hexagons in a Minecraft plains biome. The picture was taken at night and the base is lit in contrast to the surrounding landscape. An orange farm tractor sits beside a small field of wheat, all made out of Minecraft blocks. A brown, boxy tram sits at a train station with its orange passenger coach in Minecraft. A Minecrafty, pale, custom willow tree stands in front of an empty stable for the illagers' ravagers. Most of the area is made-up of greys and darker browns.

In 2008, Google created an ad-powered wiki encyclopedia called Knol, seen as a "Wikipedia killer" amid its highly-publicized launch. And the Wikimedia Foundation gave an unbothered response that I quite like: "the more good free content, the better for the world." Anyway Knol instantly flopped

That's what I do for breakfast on workdays. Uses so many fewer spoons, and it's quick. I can't be bothered to go back on mornings where time is of the essence nowadays.

Btw this is what happens when they build Ai data centers in your state. They raise the cost of wholesale electricity (by using an insane amount of it) and the working class pays... because we have no other choice.

Keep using your "free" Ai.. you'll eventually end up paying for it too.

While looking for my WiiU control pad charger, I found this little guy, Montague, my childhood stuffed animal. Still haven't found that cable, but been looking all over for him, too, so it was nice to finally find him where I wasn't expecting: a Lego Dimensions box.
A small, grey, well worn, stuffed bear. His head might be the size of the rest of his body.

Don't have the spoons to look into repair options right now, but might in time. Wouldn't be a bad chance for me to learn a new skill, or support the local games store if they do repairs. Just don't want to have to ship it somewhere at the moment.

Was going to try streaming Kirby Air Ride a bit before Kirby Air Riders comes out on the 20th. I had tested it a bit yesterday with no issues. Went to test again tonight only to find that the disc drive mechanism on my Wii isn't working too well. Barely got the game in and out again.

My grandpa had a high school diploma and a union wage as a truck driver in Kansas City.

He made enough to let my grandma stay home with four kids and they still bought a house in the suburbs, had two cars, and sent one kid to private school and college.

That would never happen today but it should.

Do not impliment the AI auto clip tool Twitch has implemented a sign up for an AI alpha auto clip tool. This is very unethical in many ways to not just content creation but also to things outside content creation. I ask twitch to remove this sign up and not engage in any use of AI when it comes to content creation. Facts about AI usage Google’s single Iowa data center alone consumed 1 billion gallons of water in 2024. The first way AI uses water is for cooling. Data centers run thousands of powerful computers around the clock. As these machines crunch numbers and manage data, they generate a lot of heat. To keep everything running smoothly, water is often used in cooling systems. This can mean circulating water through pipes to absorb heat or using evaporative cooling towers that release warm air. Ai is trained to use already created content for training with out user consent. This has already been happening on social media. Twitch's AI clip tool ''claims'' they will not use user generated clips with out consent for training to assume what constitutes as high engagement moments for clip creation. AI data centers now generate 2.5–3.7% of global greenhouse gas emissions, officially surpassing the aviation industry’s 2% contribution while growing 15% annually. It is very important that people speak up and say no to the AI clip tool especially partners and ambassadors as this tool is very harmful to the community. Turning it off as an option is not enough.

here's how you remove the AI from the latest Firefox update

So if the sound of that leaves your mouth tasting of tar, here's what you want to do: In the url bar, type in about:config It'll give you a big scary warning page that you might poke holes in your browser. Good. You want to do that. Click continue. One by one, you're going to need to put each of these into the search bar in the page, not up top: browser.ml.enable browser.ml.chat.enabled extensions.ml.enabled browser.ml.linkPreview.enabled browser.tabs.groups.smart.enabled browser.tabs.groups.smart.userEnabled Each of these are gonna have a lil toggle icon on the right hand side that looks like a funky double-ended arrow. Click that and the value next to it should change to false. It all auto saves as you go. Some of these might already be set to false by default and that's peachy. The next best thing you can do for yourself is to set your default search engine to udm14 or Qwant, but for now, we're just tidying the garden a lil bit.
