Hello! I'm Ell, an enby costume maker for film, TV and theatre based in London, UK.

I love hand embroidery and goldwork, and have experience with tailoring, millinery and prop costume/mascots.

An 18th-century tailored frock coat. The fabric is black with a floral lace overlay and then covered with goldwork foil and a bright gold lining. It has black feathers across the shoulders and down the back, which have also been decorated with gold leaf and foil.

Booked a coach for the second family funeral in less than a month. Crazy how trains will set me back over £150 each way but a return bus trip is under £10.

Just need to find a new podcast to listen to for those journeys- I have 7 hours travelling to kill 😂

It was a pretty well made coat (if I do say so myself 😂), so even if someone doesn't recognise it as costume piece I'm hoping someone may just want to buy it for daily use.
The colour is nice and it has functional pockets 😂

Finally got rid of the Newt coat I made and wore to Dragoncon in 2017.
I couldn't bring myself to sell it, nor keep it buried in the back of my cupboard, so I donated it to my local charity shop.
