And the fact they still after 1 year have to rely on Ai for their posters, when there are tons of punks out there, like me, willing to do graphic design for activists gratis also doesn't sit right. They've had the time and publicity to be on the radar and yet they dont have the grassroots backing.

I get the frustration and sometimes have it myself. But showing up, however we can, is a good thing. But i would also urge people to keep pressuring lawmakers, giving to bail funds, and a third secret thing. BUT the sign ups is where I get fucked up. An org asking for personal info is sus

When I first came to the US one of the things I learned was established VAs would actively discourage or look down on newer actors asking for appearance fees at conventions, often judging them for how much they were asking for.

That never should have been a thing.
