In Chicago, a woman was driving to get coffee when a DHS vehicle fleeing an angry crowd crashed into her car. Armed agents jumped out of the vehicle, yanked her door open, pulled her by the legs out of her car at gunpoint, held her incommunicado for hours, then released her with no charges.

Don’t know the feasibility of a multi-million dollar class action lawsuit against the network on behalf of We The People, but if someone did the legal legwork I’d happily co-sign as one of the injured parties.

Wait, did they edit an interview? Did they not air every second?

I heard that’s grounds for a multimillion lawsuit
I see that CBS chose not to air this part. It probably explains much of what they did decide to air.

I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

if there was a rich person with the will, you could build the most incredible news organization that has ever existed just from the wreckage of this year alone.

Alright I'll give him some credit for this one
Jeffries: "The Trump administration and Mike Johnson are running a pedophile protection program. That's the reason they refuse to swear in Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva."

Every $1 donation provides 4 or 5 meals from food banks. Even a donation of $5 right now can feed up to two dozen people. No, we shouldn’t have to do this. But we can.
Remember that while food banks welcome donations of food, they prefer $$$$$$$. They have deals with grocery stores and suppliers. You can only buy one dollar's worth of food for one dollar, but they can buy several dollars' worth. So don't, like, buy food to donate it, just give 'em the dough.
Of the many great insult names for Trump, “tiny fingered, Cheeto-faced, ferret wearing shitgibbon,” which greeted him in Scotland, has to be my personal favorite. So thank you for keeping shitgibbon in the lexicon!

Trump did on 60 Minutes what he does every time. He spews a blizzard of lies, exaggerations and assorted other falsehoods, and if (as usual) the reporter isn’t equipped or doesn’t bother to push back, he keeps going.

Here is a detailed list, via @mehdirhasan.bsky.social

My comment pertained to my own voting history. I said I’ve never voted Republican. I didn’t say I’ve never been disgusted by Democrats. I do think Jimmy Carter had more integrity than anyone to ever sit in the Oval Office in my lifetime, though. He seemed like an outlier brought about by Watergate.

Ask Andrew
I don’t follow your correlation of “never voted Republican” and “didn’t live south of the Mason-Dixon Line” though.
I also lived in New Orleans on and off for a bit and spent a few months in Georgia, but never voted in either of those states.
Also not true. I voted for Jesse Jackson in Missouri in the 1988 primary. So I guess by my own math I was there for 19 years.
I spent my first 18 years in Missouri.
One thing I do believe is true of the Never Trump crew I follow on here is that they’re all earnest and sincere in their efforts to topple Trump and end the current wave of MAGA authoritarianism… whether they’ll commit to calling it encroaching fascism or not.

So yay for country over party!
I spend a disproportionate amount of time reading and watching clips from Never Trump conservatives I’ve disagreed with for decades. I prefer it to an echo chamber. Sometimes I find common ground and just as often I’m reminded of why I never once voted Republican in my nearly forty years of voting.

How to explain gerrymandering this Thanksgiving.
As Trump literally bulldozed the East Wing…
