I cannot state this strongly enough:

Trans healthcare is literally lifesaving. I would not be here today if it were not a thing.

It is not something that can be put off in a healthy way, it is not a frivolous lark. We exist, and we hurt in ways that most cis people cannot start to understand.
On Friday, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management issued a memo announcing that, beginning in 2026, all federal employee health plans will be barred from covering gender-affirming care for both transgender youth and adults.

The memo also mandates that insurers cover “faith-based counseling,” otherwise known as conversion therapy.

When the suspects appear to be white guys, it’s not a bombing — it’s an intentional explosion.

This has such "tag yourself" vibes tbh
it's utterly wild how the Heritage Foundation president talks about other people

if you found a guy talking like this outside, you'd probably call the cops

MasterCard is marketing its new MasterCard Threat Intelligence platform to issuers & acquirers. A source familiar w/ MasterCard’s internal operations told me MTI is flagging anime, VTubing, adult content, tabletop, video games as potentially “high fraud risk”

to be clear, nobody deserves to live in fear or be targeted like this, regardless of immigration status. I think it is worthwhile to talk about american citizens being subject to detention because of racist enforcement and policy, simply because it demonstrates the complete breakdown of the system
📽️ WATCH: The U.S. government doesn’t track how often immigration agents detain citizens. So ProPublica did.

We found more than 170 incidents since the start of Trump’s second term. Americans have been kicked, dragged and held for days without access to lawyers.

absolutely, and well outside of my skill range.. this is much more of a video gamey "things moving by themselves" kind of deal

though I guess I could have not-everything-moves-every-time versions? would still work better on computer for .. reasons
oh it isn't the logic that is the problem, it is the iteration of that logic across a large number of npcs

Treksky, do your stuff.
TREKKIES OF BLUESKY: I just got the cursed idea to try and acquire a near-enough replica of Janeway's coffee mug for my basically-not-on-here best friend's birthday/Xmas. Turns out this is the hardest of the Trek mugs to acquire.

Can anyone help me out?
I am interested because "prowl" is such a flat descriptor and boring way to try to handle it
I have a ttrpgish dungeon crawl game that would only work easily with computer mediation. I really wanna try building it to play at a convention or something like that. the specific scenario would only work for a one shot, but I think it would be great
stun runner vibes I dig it
you would think the bubble bath would make it better but it really really makes it worse
I am going to spare you the full details of the disturbing scene, but I am listening back to a blades in the dark session in which my player describes something as "the worst orgy every invented"

I love GMing
I would say that it salaries are high because we have convinced the capital and managerial class that we are the specialist little people who make think good.
bringing joy and happiness to the world as is right and just
you would think that, but I haven't seen much evidence of wages following supply/demand any time in the last few decades

Every Boomer I know with money is being encouraged by everything and everyone to spend everything they have before they go, the kids are getting nothing but underwater mortgages for houses nobody wants

The fabled “Great Redistribution” of generational wealth seems less and less likely as Baby Boomers grapple with the skyrocketing cost of elder care (paying an attractive young woman to react to Steely Dan on YouTube)
this is so delightful

Poll: Americans say “too divided”
Pundit: Dems are being too divisive

Poll: Legal system unfair
Pundit: The public thinks Trump should get away with crimes

Poll: Low trust in media
Pundits: MSM is too far left

Every time they see a nonspecific term and assume everyone thinks like a Republican.
I will never understand the pundit obsession with getting Democrats to solve "political division."

Not only is this what they're already doing, but Klein admits that Republicans will never do the same. So elections will remain constant GOP smears and simping Democratic promises of bipartisanship.
