NEW: Federal immigration agents’ use of Naval Station Great Lakes will continue through “at least December,” according to an email to leaders at Naval Station Great Lakes obtained by the Sun-Times.

Feds have been using offices there as a command center for operations and parking for 140 vehicles.

Yes, I think this angle needs to be explored. As someone in peri who doesn't eat much meat, my little shakes have been a lifesaver. They also often have a good amount of calcium and iron, which I def need.

The Republican staffer class are ALL NAZIS. It's not one or two bad applies - it's a huge contingent of literal Hitler-worshippers. If you spend any amount of time online - especially on X - you know it. This is something that has been dreadfully underreported & I"m glad it's getting covered.

Don't feel bad. I think at this point people in Chicago are focused on communicating with other Chicagoans to keep them informed. Also I imagine a lot of people who live here could not tell you where this neighborhood is.

A confrontation between community members and militarized federal agents appears to be unfolding on Chicago's southeast side, near the intersection of E. 105th St and S. Ave. N.

Details still emerging. From what I've seen federal agents have deployed at least one can of some kind of gas.

This is a good start. Would add the Sept raid in Elgin w/ Noem where they broke down a door, the Millennium Park raid, the woman shot in her car by ICE, the Forest Park cemetery workers, the Rogers Park standoff, and well the list goes on...
