I had a snapping turtle as a kid. My dad and I were fishing on the Potomac and found her as a hatchling, clinging to our fish trap. Kept her in a tank and fed her goldfish. When we moved we donated her to the local park service where she lives until she got too big and they released her back.

I break with my peers in that I think gen ai will be used for something creative and interesting someday but it's not going to be in replicating other forms of media, which it will always be bad at

All the creative people treat it like it's radioactive* so the least creative people are having a go
