I volunteer driving food to recipients for a local pantry and I appreciate you for doing this. 1/3 of their funding(federal) was cut last spring. They recently sent out a newsletter that outlined the SNAP/WIC crisis in facts. It’s incredibly concerning.

I read earlier that USDA says that any state providing funds to replace SNAP will not have them reimbursed when/if the shutdown ends. But Loserana is a deep red state, so maybe they'll get away with it.

Pancakes and eggs for dinner at the end of the month. YUM! Syrup. We know our moms loved us. I did the same for my kids. And those neighbor kids who came along. Pancakes go a long way! A little flour, milk, salt, baking powder, good to go for 10 people if needed.
