No Australian Federal Government revenue of any kind, fees, fines, taxes, royalties is ever re-used for anything

All government revenue in the form of A$ immediately goes to nothing

They can keep imaginary track of these now meaningless numbers but why would they?

Like tax, to remove currency from circulation (see above)

Also to provide wealthy people with an interest bearing investment of the very highest security

Not for any re-use

Removing currency from circulation so it will not compete with government purchases & cause inflation

Can also be used to modify inequity, or in current case, cause inequity

We have to assume that they actually know that all Australian money is created by the RBA, at the behest of the government, typing numbers into keyboards which sends those numbers to private bank accounts, where those numbers become A$

No taxes, no bond sales, no royalties

The Commonwealth government prints money and can continue to do so until inflation gets too high.

The rest is a game they play.

We were informed today by Salem that ICE is in Eugene.
We were warned that 50 to 100 cars came down 15. Went
through Woodburn and Chemeketa. They will not be
showing up as ICE but as CBP (Customs and Border
Patrol). We unfortunately can't send out the information through our government email.
I just wanted to give you heads up to share with all your contacts.

I find it really disappointing to hear one of the very few politicians who I would have any trust in, accepting neoliberal economic nonsenses like budget deficits

What he wants here is the answer to inequity & corruption, nothing to do with any mythical Federal Government Deficit

The proper remedy to our budget deficit is not triming spending, it’s to increase revenue. 1) Have multinationals pay their fair share of tax. 2) Collect proper royalties for our (finite) resources. 3) Stop just exporting our rocks - value add here. 4) Stop Defence waste. #auspol

If the IDF inflicts such deliberate cruelty and degradation on briefly detained foreign nationals, no wonder we are getting such horrifying accounts from recently released Palestinians.

Great. Former PM Tony Abbott will be ABC Radio Melbourne (3LO) shortly to plug his 'History of Australia' book.

I've read some parts, and it's a whitewashed, typical Abbott history.

Of course, it's got great reviews in the Herald Sun by Bolt, Credlin, Dean, Panahi and the Sky News hacks. lol.

In June, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu admitted his government was arming some Gazan clans, gangs and militias, such as the Popular Forces, led by Yasser Abu Shabab.

Netanyahu’s rationale was that any opposition to Hamas helped Israel.

Hamas is battling powerful clans for control in Gaza – who are these groups and what threat do they pose?

Many clans and gangs are taking advantage of a security vacuum in Gaza to reassert their authority – some backed by Israel.

The electoral system is divorced from the selection of government

you may have the best system in the world for the casting & counting of votes

but that system does not choose the candidates nor how they associate nor the structure of the bodies they form

even in the best, let alone the worst

So to summarise: the Tas government bought two ships, that are years late, to run between Devonport and Geelong, but there is no wharf at all for them at Devonport because people forgot to build one and they can't safely use the wharf at Geelong.
