“I’ve just had a lasagne!” will forever be my go-to excuse to get out of anything. #CelebrityTraitors
Well, this was a treat. Really enjoyed it. Rosie & Gemma were excellent. I got goose bumps at the end.
We are delighted that Rosie Cavaliero (French and Saunders, Gentleman Jack, Friday Night Dinner, Alan Partridge) will be joining Gemma Whelan onstage for the SOLD OUT world premiere reading of Astell and Woolf next Fri 17 Oct as part of WOW North East

Happy Bookshop Day, an annual celebration of bookshops, booksellers and the joy of shopping local. Where would we be without them?

My wish for this/any platform, is that we might all attempt to see the best in each other (and life) & find enough commonality to get along together.
Contrary to some people’s opinion, the last thing I want is to create enemies & friction.
Less hate… more understanding. 👍

DIANE KEATON transformed American cinema with performances that redefined leading women on screen. From Annie Hall's Oscar-winning charm to The Godfather's quiet strength, she brought intelligence, vulnerability, and style to every role. A huge loss. #RIP

One of the unexpected things I've learned from my advocacy for trans people is how malignant parts of the State can be, how it can misuse data for positively evil purposes. It's taught me people can't be safe with a digital ID card and so I've signed this. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/73...
Petition: Do not introduce Digital ID cards
We demand that the UK Government immediately commits to not introducing a digital ID cards. There are reports that this is being looked at.

I’m defo late to the party. Only watching season 2 now. It is really good. Substance. Suspense. Twist & turns. Jack Lowden & Gary Oldman & Saskia Reeves are stupendous.
Being late to the party is still being at the party. Always good to find new fans of the show.

Seriously. A one-hour Party Political Broadcast. Followed at the top of the next hour with top story billing and a highlights package.

Exactly how will this be "balanced" across their coverage?

Where is Ofcom? Where is Nandy?
For 56 minutes Sky News and BBC News interrupted everything else and carried a Reform UK feed live, uninterrupted, unchallenged. The stream spluttered, froze, pixelated - dozens of times - still they stuck with it. FOR ONE HOUR.

This is an editorial choice. No other party gets this coverage. ~AA
