I gave up on my last few Kinktober fic ideas because I just can’t do anything right now. That brick wall in my brain is back. I don’t know what’s up. Even saying “ok maybe I’ll write only 1-2 more fics instead of 5” is unacceptable, my brain will instead do absolutely zero.

My brain feels like a struggling dialup internet connection, like…vague idea I wouldn’t mind writing, but I can barely come up with a fleshed out idea, it’s really just mashing two dolls together so they kiss. 🤷‍♂️ I can’t even describe how useless my brain is being lately.

Remember all the "don't obey in advance" stuff just after the election. "Trump is going to cancel the election and make himself president forever" is LITERALLY obeying in advance.

Sweet baby rays, I woke up this morning and my bones hurt. I sat up and they hurt even MORE. My skeleton warrior must be preparing to hatch. Or the temperatures suddenly dipping down into the 30s are obliterating my ancient bones. Either way! OUCH! 😭

I grabbed Of Time And Turtles again, because I do love Sy Montgomery’s stuff, and that’s a great book. I’d been wanting to reread it after the picture book about Fire Chief came out but I never got around to it.

I wasn’t planning to get any books for myself since I have several ebooks, I was gonna get a few for Dad, but then I said, “I kinda want to reread Kaiju Preservation Society. And actually, I have a hankering for some nonfiction.” So I got Fuzz, since last time it wasn’t exactly what my brain wanted.

Wentt try out this morning to get a few groceries and stop by the library, and honestly, it was a lovely trip out. I stepped on a crunchy leaf and regained life points. It’s overcast and cool but it’s pleasant and not frigid. Lots of lovely foliage colors on the drive. A+. I feel slightly healed.
