I’ve been having a flare up for the past two weeks. I asked my mom to come with me to urgent care because I was nervous about what they were gonna say.

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Nora. Nora’s husband Mohammed was killed and both her daughters Warda, 5 and Fida, 3 were injured in a bombing on the third day of the war. I got the sex talk once a year from the time I was 10-13. From 13-24 (literally!!) I got the sex talk Every. Single. Time. I watched “Titanic”. And I watched that movie MULTIPLE times a year.

As I am now firmly Childfree by Choice, my mom regrets that decision.🤷🏾‍♀️

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Saher. Saher worked on a his family farm before this. He lost his left eye in the 2008 Gaza war when he was only 15. He’s now lost his home and farm and is struggling to survive with his family including his 2 year old nephew Mohammed.

- shot and killed five Palestinians in Gaza City
- refused to open the Rafah border crossing
- announced they would once more block aid

106 years ago, one of the deadliest race massacres in American history took place in Elaine, Arkansas. Black farmers, seeking fair payment for their crops, organized through the Progressive Farmers and Household Union of America.

When their meeting was attacked by a group of white men, the confrontation left one white man dead. In response, white mobs, joined by federal troops, launched a days-long assault on the Black community, killing well over 100 Black men and women.

The headlines below show the cost to Black families and how a disinformation campaign was used to justify the violence against Black Americans. The claim, all too familiar, was that the Black organizers were trying to start a socialist revolution.
