I was clueless when I got Sully, my Border. It was the breeder who told me.

When Sully comes in from the garden maukit, I say “yer aw’ mucky!” & he goes straight into his box. Only problem is the big mucky paw prints from garden door to his box.

Borders’ coat is “self-cleaning” - a miracle if you don’t know about it.

I put mine in his box until he’s dry, the dirt literally falls off. Vacuum the box after.

I look back at myself in my 20s and think "I should have been kinder to her".

I already know I won't look back at my 30s and think the same.

DX’d at 53,now 55. I stopped searching for “what’s wrong” & the magic self-help book/supplement/pill etc that would “fix” me. I’m ND, it’s neurological-no amount of beating myself up & “trying harder” will fix that. Found huge help from ND community on social media;lot of comorbidities that are ADHD

As a Scot, this seems mostly normal to me. Not everyone is a saint, but most/many Scots would seek out & return a wallet.

Off at a tangent, but having had an unexpected beating from corrupt cops, with the “bar Sergeant” walk away when he saw the beating start - they didn’t expect a wee scrote like me to be unbreakable. When they smashed my head, I said “ooh, that was really good - can you do it again?” Fuckin idiots
