for games to become art culturally what is needed is an understanding of their musicality, which is to say you don't need a deep thesis from some evil ass jazz to understand that it's art, It's all feeling. But currently a lot of the possible feelings from 'play' are just considered bad design

Maybe some people won't think it counts, maybe some will say "well i played it after all the DLC came out and liked it"
