like sure the RFK jr red meat wasn't mentioned but what else was she going to write a book about, her journalistic know-how? maybe what it's like to be friends with Milo Yiannopolous

Gleaned this from a @rusty.todayintabs.com post almost a month ago tho?

He really put a "but I'm different" in his eulogy. What a mind.

Trump at the Charlie Kirk memorial event: "They fired sniper rifles at ICE agents, and me. But I made a turn at a good time. I made a turn at a good time. Charlie couldn't believe it, actually."

(i'm undaunted but slightly bummed that I didn't even fall trying to make the last step—I was staring at Nate's toes trying to gauge distance and he just kinda keeled over)

Imagine, you are buzzing after the last sip of your third Kim Crawford sauvignon blanc. You just met a lovely retiree whose daughter-in-law is going to phone you about the condo in Hallandale. You walk up to my tent, I smile at you. I have Golgotha loaded up in Classic.
Cold email from marketer:
"Good morning Jason, are you or Brian Bucklew the right person to speak with about influencer partnerships?

We recently signed on as the exclusive influencer partner for the South Beach Wine and Food Festival, activating creators across 35 of their events."

Nicholas Capozzoli rejects a reductive critical impulse towards the misremembered simplicity of a good ol’ days that never were (Further Reading: Grace Benfell on the state of criticism).

like is the fact that i'm not upset about not doing better gonna be the thing that accidentally produces a lifetime challenge: "Man, 89, From Deathbed, Finally Surmounts Video Game Mountain" because I do not want that for me

idly wondering if I have the perfectly wrong—or reasonably right—attention span for the manbreaker: I don't care if the game's sitting on my hard drive and I don't beat it for 2 years, but I also start losing focus about 2 minutes into every climb

what a refreshing change to see a politician stand firmly on trans rights, refuse to concede the right-wing framing of trans people as "a problem", and rightly call out ridicule and bigotry in the guise of "common sense"

Solidarity with all trans and intersex people having their existence debated every time a tv host hasn't done their prep and can't think of any more questions

Sharing this one more time before the long weekend. I wrote about the value of literary games criticism, the loss of said critics' jobs, and "the delirious fantasy that this could all be good for us." www.arcadence.com/abundance-re...
Abundance Reigns!
The Reminder is a watchword: though it may ascribe a problem to us, the offenders are assuredly others.

I think so. Staring at that area now. Here's my current view:

god i hope the part I'm currently stuck at is fucktown
kestrelpi.bsky.social
I did, or at least to it's landmarks.

Awkward Ramp
Banana peel
Seagull
Weird colour rock
The bit before the cutscene that I like to call "fucktown"
Platform
Scary but easy planks
Horrible ledges
Deceptively slippery slope

So cool that whenever someone asks the president, “did you eat the Lindbergh baby” he’s like, “no but I’d be allowed to, I have the right to, I might do it later”

Best bet I've found is to set up (and pay for) an advanced call filter that allows blocking unknown numbers by area code (in my experience they seem to come from certain codes in bulk) , then turning those notifications off. But they'll still fill up your voicemail, no way around that AFAIK.

This administration is a dull-minded, paranoid, gullible old man surrounded by twenty cranks, thousand-year-reich zealots, and single-issue lunatics, all with phones, running around saying, "Show him this! He'll like this! Make sure he sees this!"

Besides linking Tylenol in pregnant women to autism, RFK Jr. now says circumcision is part of the reason why kids are autistic.

"Children who are circumcised early have double the rate of autism, and it's highly likely because they're given Tylenol. None of this is positive..."

If there's one thing I'm very jealous of brit crits for it's their preternatural ability to euphemize self-serious video game terms. You can be as po-faced abt your milsim as possible but you can't stop those lads from calling your operators "naughty kittens" www.rockpapershotgun.com/battlefield-...
Battlefield 6 review
Battlefield 6 is a tale as old as the FPS genre: a vapid military fable salvaged from total irrelevance by a robust but fundamentally unadventurous multiplayer.
