also i cannot stress how much of a birthday miracle it was to find not just any sword & sorcery book, but elric of all books. in a used book store in slovenia, english books usually take up roughly three short shelves. this was an incredibly lucky find! and with the whelan cover too 🙏🙏🙏

yeah, the business/contract aspect was what put me off from even considering webtoon/tapas, i just want a platform to put a comic on. from the limited insight i have atm, comicfury reminds me a bit of old deviantart, i think that's why i'm so fond of it lmao, reminder of a simpler time

but i've also done so much and spent 6 years chipping away at it, the script is 2/3 done & letting it go would feel like a betrayal of myself because it feels like i always do this. i'm hoping that once the script is finished and i get to drawing, i will regain the passion that dulled along the way

i've been on-again-off-again working on a story for a comic between various other projects and commissions and i am now at a point where i am unsure if it's any good at all bc i've been staring at it for so long, and my interests really shifted to other themes lately

what draws me to comic fury is that apparently people are really happy to interact & that feels hard to come by online nowadays, which is why it's high on my radar for when i get my comic started, i miss active communities.
