This Indigenous Peoples Day please speak up: another typhoon sweeping away homes of Alaska's Natives, who, during settlement (statehood: 1948) were forced to end ways of life (like my Grandma's) involving mobility across regions & stuck them in flood-prone/unstable villages with housing deficits.

Nothing wrong with terribly silly shows to perk you up! I watched a couple episodes of this dumb doctor show that was less plausible than House. Yep, just wake up from a coma and they’ll let you go RIGHT back to work with minimal effort.

Oh, and they gave me a fancy ass backpack for my laptop. I worked for a top 5 bank and they wouldn’t even buy us lanyards for our badges. Even charged $5 for the little retractable clip if it broke. Going to be weird working for a company that spends money on its employees.

- motorized standing desk and a new chair
- a supply closet I can raid any time
- motion sensor water/ice machine with SUPER CRUSHED ice
- we don’t turn the lights on b/c GIANT window w/trees and overhang

Thank you to whoever it was at the broccoli packaging facility that left their RED HAIR in my bag. I didn’t want to eat dinner tonight. Every single bag from this box has smelled like old lady perfume when it has been microwaved, so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.
