Politico received an initial tip that a Taylor staffer had a swastika neatly pinned to his cubicle during a zoom call. When confronted, the congressman’s press office pretty implausibly sought to present the situation as a police matter, and Politico went along with that in its headline and lede.

ICYMI: In Chicago, Maria Greeley, 44, was on her way home from her job earlier this month when she was surrounded, seized & zip-tied by three ICE masked agents w/o cause or warning & interrogated for an hour. The military need to be very careful and seek legal advice outside of the JAGs. The first thing the admin did was fire JAGs. The legal advice is compromised but that won't protect the personnel that carry out the orders "just following orders" is not protective.
