Happy Halloween! Forgot to find a proper costume, but @janesvanity.bsky.social came to the rescue. Also forgot hair and makeup (or maybe I look properly ghoulish?), so I’m showing just the floofy hem for now along with the silver go go boots I’ve been dyyyying wear for ages.

I was so proud of my dog sleeping on her bed like a normal creature might last night, but she usually is more like this (her hindlimbs are going through a degenerative paralysis, partially explaining the comfort levels she is feeling here):

My dog looks like she has no neck and I love it.

Since childhood, i’ve always wanted live in a 55+ village. You can’t let family stay beyond x amount of time, giving you more time to peacefully Old. “Ohhh nooooo, I’d love to host you longer, but rules are rules!” *fake shakes fist at The Man*

My 2 am practice habits may be a problem, though.

I found a group who helped me find a neurosurgeon & neuro-ophthalmologist who believed my pain, actually listened to me, found I was slowly dying, operated & worked to fix it, & now I no longer visit the ER, feral from pain, 1-2 times a week…I am also no longer unknowingly dying.
