I remain interested in the dwindling National Guard presence here in DC, while well aware that ICE/feds are still terrorizing residents.

So far today, saw three NG on the platform at Gallery Place metro.

Did a thorough search of Union Station and only spotted one NG. I assume they have a partner.

A single, solitary National Guard talks to the driver of a white shuttle bus outside Union Station. It’s sunny and the blue sky is clear.

Sunlight filters in and illuminates the glorious arched ceiling at Union Station. Rows of octagons run along the arched ceiling, a gold circle in the center of each one. A row of stone statues, their backs turned to the camera, overlook the main concourse.

A couple of police (I think Amtrak police), standard for Union Station, and one police dog who looks to be an older lab mix. They’re still a good dog, despite working for the police.

The southwest corner of Union Station, where the escalators go down to the Metro. Lots of stone arches are visible, but not a single National Guard.

Okay somewhat decent news.
I actually only owe 3.3k in total and they said they're going to let the courts know I've made payments and we will reach on some kind of payment plan.
So still urgent but slightly less urgent

Trump's mechanism to pay the troops during the shutdown is by far the most illegal budgetary action he's taken as POTUS, potentially setting the stage to break everything.

It's also needless because Congress would easily pass a troop pay bill if Johnson were willing to gavel in.

ICE arrested comedian Robby Roadsteamer for singing a parody of Rod Stewart’s “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy” in a Jeffrey Epstein the Giraffe costume outside their facility.

The action hasn’t died down in DC, they’ve just made it less visible after their shock and awe phase. I’d bet we’ll see the same in Chicago & Portland.

The “emergency” ended a month ago, but I woke up this morning to reports of 3 ICE actions within a 10 min walk of my house within 6-7:30am. #FreeDC

A musician, Oriana Korol, was peacefully playing clarinet with her protest band outside ICE facilities in Portland, OR.

When the band started playing “Ghostbusters,” ICE thugs suddenly poured outside, slammed her into the mud, arrested her and took her to a jail 9 miles away in Vancouver, WA.

NEW: Federal immigration agents’ use of Naval Station Great Lakes will continue through “at least December,” according to an email to leaders at Naval Station Great Lakes obtained by the Sun-Times.

Feds have been using offices there as a command center for operations and parking for 140 vehicles.

We are still occupied. MPD is *still* cooperating w/the feds, despite the mayor saying they're not.

A couple weeks ago I was stopped for a "routine traffic stop" by the Secret Service (& no person they protect was anywhere nearby).

It's hell & folks are fighting.

It feels like we’ve been forgotten, maybe because there aren’t huge confrontations to run photos of. But our neighbors are still being taken every day. Routine traffic stops are now done by 12+ feds alongside local police.

Based on the video shared by Univision (they've paired it with overhead from ABC), today's attack might be the most chemical gas we've seen feds launch into a neighborhood so far. The clouds are enormous/that's a lot of canisters. Completely engulfing cars and homes.

We're told at least one person was arrested—and later released with a citation for disorderly—by Broadview police for simply being on the Maywood side of 25th at Harvard St outside the ICE facility this morning.

They were documenting agents coming and going as electeds have told people to do.
