This kind of work can be done (and should be) anywhere there are courts operating. I'd suggest looking at the courtwatchla website to learn more and getting in touch with people in your are doing legal support in the immigration space. Good luck!

It's been 16 hours since Los Angeles County declared a state of emergency over ICE Raids and the @latimes.com has yet to publish a story about it.

Screen shot of the LA Times search results page. A search for "state of emergency" reveals the two most recent stories containing the phrase were a story about a typhoon in Alaska and a story about property damage from the January wildfires. Both stories were published on 10/13/25

Today in Portland, a fed shooting pepper balls from the roof of the ICE facility was so eager to aim for people’s heads, that after shooting one photographer in the head and another in the upper arm, they accidentally shot a DHS agent in the head. This photo shows the moment of impact;
