Shen Qingqiu had brought the broken pieces of Zheng Yang back with him. He messily dug a hole behind Qing Jing Peak's Bamboo House, erected a tablet, and set up a sword mound.
When others saw him lost in thought as he faced that empty tablet, they thought he was reminiscing about his beloved disciple, and they could only sigh. What a deep master-and-disciple bond! Fate toys with us all.

Only Shen Qingqiu knew that the one he was mourning was in truth within that sword mound, buried underneath and never to return: that youth as warm as the sun.

Falling alongside the flying sand and hurtling stones-aside from people, people, and more people-were two objects that hit the ground with a metallic clang. When Shen Qingqiu focused and looked, he saw they were actually two swords:

Zheng Yang, Xiu Ya.

These two swords had orig-
inally shared the same fate and broken into numerous sections of blade shards. It was unclear how they had been repaired, but they had been tied together and placed in Huan Hua Pavilion.
Only with the pavilion's collapse did they once again see the sun and sky.

Seeing these two swords once more left an indescribable feeling in Shen Qingqiu's heart.
