Dad said the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice. But he also reminded us that it doesn’t bend on its own.

Let’s get into good trouble—peacefully, persistently, and with love as our guide.

I have to stress how highly unusual it is for the most powerful military on the planet to be blowing up random boats in international waters.

I can’t help but feel that several criminal charges will ultimately come from these strikes.

It makes far more sense to interdict them.

Chris Murphy: "There's a lot of history that has taken place in the East Wing & it was just destroyed without any conversation in the public, without any consent of Congress. It's absolutely illegal. That visual is powerful b/c you're watching destruction of the rule of law as those walls come down"

If the National Guard is really in D.C. to protect federal

He’ll bedazzle the entire East Wing, won’t he?!? And the ARCH. Only good thing about it is if people can walk through it to and from DC, it will be a bona fide vomitorium (Roman architectural term for a passageway that I think works well in this context).

He did everything he possibly could to overturn the election & stay in power - threatening his VP, Govs & Secs of States, organizing a mob to storm the Capitol. He knew if he ordered a military coup they would’ve refused & he would’ve been tried for treason. That’s why he left.

BREAKING: Sen. DURBIN sends official congressional correspondence asking if Kristi Noem has hired any January 6th rioters at ICE.
I’ve had private tours of the West Wing and gone to parties at the White House where bands played and a few guests danced. Most guests were people watching, hoping to spot a celebrity or high-ranking official to pester. They’ll need paid pros to get even a tiny fraction of 900 people dancing.
