🇺🇸 I swear to God we should send GOP Congress so many U.S. flags that they are buried in them. Reclaim the flag while protesting their treason. 🇺🇸

Apparently protecting US citizens from flooding is DEI.

Months before catastrophic floods swept through an Alaska Native village on Sunday, the Trump administration canceled a $20 million grant meant to protect the community from extreme flooding. At the time, the EPA administrator said he was eliminating "wasteful DEI and Environmental Justice grants."

It took 8 paragraphs before acknowledging he has zero power over World Cup locations.

The press needs to be more direct in labelling lies and empty threats, preferably in headlines.

Really American

In his latest impersonation of a petty mobster, Trump threatens to take away the World Cup games from Boston, and even the Olympics from Los Angeles, to whomever doesn't bend the knee to him.

Shameful vindictiveness.

I had a student who chose to intern with the Republican Party in Minnesota. He was distraught listening to what the other young interns were saying. They were straight up arguing for a return to monarchy and chattel slavery. Young Republicans in Minnesota.

I’m only thinking about this article in the content of SCOTUS rehearing the Voting Rights Act case. This is what Republicans say in private. Republicans who are elected. Republicans who serve within their party apparatus. Republicans who work for the Trump administration & work in state government.

”offers an unfiltered look at how a new generation of GOP activists talk when they think no one is listening.”

Hell, do they even care whether people are listening?

I knew this back when I went to a College Republicans/ Ann Coulter event almost 25 years ago to troll them. Instead I was so shocked about what was said there, out in the open, that I didn’t troll!

A 13-year-old boy was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Everett after an interaction with members of the Everett Police Department and sent to a juvenile detention facility in Virginia, according to his mother and immigration lawyer Andrew Lattarulo.

The boy’s mother, Josiele Berto, was called to pick her son up from the Everett Police Department on Thursday, the day he was arrested. After waiting for about an hour and a half, she was told her son was taken by ICE, Berto told the Globe in a phone interview.

“My world collapsed,” Berto said in Portuguese.

From the police department, the boy was taken to ICE’s holding facility in Burlington on Thursday evening, where he spent a night before being transferred by car to the Northwestern Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Winchester, Va., on Friday morning, his mother said. The juvenile facility is more than 500 miles away from Everett.

The boy is a 7th-grader at Albert N. Parlin School in Everett, his mother said. The teen and his family, who are Brazilian nationals, have a pending asylum case and are authorized to work legally in the United States, Lattarulo said.
