It's clearly the case that he's run out of things to buy when you see the esoteric ways he spends his money. A stream of designer drugs, professional gamers to boost his D4 rank, a bunch of kids and a compound for his brood mares, twitter, a goddamn rocket ship company! Hasn't made him happy!

I hope so too but man, I feel like a lot of our problems with new tech are just inherent to the way our brains work. If chatgpt reduces the time and cognitive effort of communication then tons of people are going to use it for everything, even dating and romance. If anything this is just the start.

If humans are cognitive misers by nature, a tool that allows us to outsource mental effort is going to see widespread adoption. And once people come to depend on it their natural faculties will atrophy. Soon we'll just be grunting into a microphone and letting chatgpt interpret and elaborate.

For Trump, human suffering is either a pleasure or a tedious annoyance. Pleas for help from his supporters are largely ignored unless they're coming from someone important or potentially useful.

If there's a farm bailout, it'll be because his aides made it happen. He doesn't give a shit.

Not at all too early to ask, though I worry the bigger threat on the money front is the regime working themselves up to just funding via Treasury without appropriations. I'm sure someone will say "That's not possible" but if you intimidate and fire enough people, it seems just about anything is.
