Staggering to read that the privately owned National Grid made over £5.3 billion in profit.
Had it still been nationalised then consumers bills would be almost £200 lower. Instead we giving US and middle eastern billionaires even more money to sit on.

This is why Starmer said we wouldn’t be getting closer to the EU. It’s because we can’t, he’s signed contracts with big corporations who will then effectively govern Britain and these corporate zones aren’t allowed by the EU.
