Truly incredible how the biggest investors in AI are always also the biggest moneymakers. Mihoyo is so on top of the Gacha market they could make fucking anything they wanted with incredible artists. AND YET

Anyway here's Mihoyo promoting AI assisted game production including:

"Efficiency in Image and Material Generation
With very few materials, they can generate character model sheets + 3D models, allowing for the testing of multiple designs and their artistic outcomes."

Something to keep an eye on.

In Super Mario 3D Land, the welcome screen that is displayed when starting the game for the first time appears to be much less enthusiastic about the game in the European version compared to the US version.

The PS2 truly is the best console ever because it is constantly becoming more powerful. Each time we say something "looks like a PS2 game" we're talking about a game of a higher fidelity than the last. What the PS2 is capable of in 2025 is so far beyond what it was capable of in 2003. That's amazing
