Gov priorities are all sorts of wrong. Bonkers it's reached this level. Where was the outcry when Legia fans were banned in 2023? For the exact same reasons of safety.

Downing Street says discussions are happening "at pace, across government" to resolve the ban on Maccabi Tel Aviv fans attending Villa Park.

Further updates are expected today, with the Home Office "urgently working to support police to try and find a way through this."

Celtic and Rangers both banned each others fans for two years due to behaviour issues; the ban was only lifted earlier this year. It's not unusual to ban opposing fans and in this case events in Amsterdam last year probably figured in the decision

It's a red card every single day of the week. Dumbfounded how VAR hasn't looked at it let alone it being slap bang in front of the referee.

The referee let play go on for a good 15+ seconds before blowing up for a head injury too.

Total ineptitude.
