The Sacramento Homeless Union is a great organization that will be hit hard by the end of SNAP.

Especially since winter in the Central Valley is much colder than people think it is.

I've always wondered if I could call myself an artist. I can't draw, I don't write, I'm no good at design.

All I do is tell silly stories for my friends around the D&D table. Sometimes I make them laugh, cry, or feel hope.

...but that counts as art, right?

i have posted before that i think you are an artist before you ever make a painting or song or book. i understand it is a unique perspective and that is okay, but i am thinking on it again after seeing post from buckaroo @scalzi.com specifically how it relates to my perspective on grief and death

Proposition: You become a writer the moment you write, a musician the moment you make music, a painter the moment you paint, etc. You become an artist the moment you find your own voice as a writer/musician/painter/etc.
