"You can jump, I'll be there - I'll be your safety net"
As I prepare to organize & build community, I'm thinking back to a special moment. David Husted & I created the song "Even Fail" - working on the bridge was pure joy.
Ba da da da da da da...
I then made this #MoodBoard

Why is anyone listening to anything David Brooks says at this point?
We had tickets to see #mandypatinkin in Wilmington, DE last night. We had trouble finding which venue it was in. Then were told the show was cancelled. Unable to find any information other than #VividSeats showing it rescheduled for April of '26. Hope MP & family are well @mandykathryn.bsky.social

To outshine the White House demolition news grab.
Washington, D.C.’s No Kings protest is converging on a rallying point just west of the Capitol building. This was one of several locally-organized feeder marches just before merging with an even bigger crowd on Pennsylvania Avenue 👇

SEVEN MILLION. WOW.

Nice work everyone, especially @leahgreenberg.bsky.social @ezralevin.bsky.social and the whole team at @indivisible.org.
After a week of ridiculous Republican smears and Trump claiming that “very few people are going to be there,” you just made history. #NoKings

The Regime's goal is to grind everyone down. Plain & simple. Our goal is to refuse this by taking turns to fight where and how we can. When one group needs to bow out, then another group needs to step in and so on. We don't all have to do everything. We can all do something though. Stay in the fight

Israeli settlers continue to wage war on Palestinians in the West Bank and elsewhere. They are breaking into people's homes, stealing their stuff, trashing their homes and sometimes kidnapping and killing people. This is happening NOW. People should know this.

The thing that is most devastating to me about the ongoing evisceration of the public health infrastructure in the U.S right is how little awareness of what's going on the majority of people in the general public have and the impact this will have on their health and safety.

But that’s no excuse for not showing up.

Show up to a protest on the 18th. It’s a way to stand up and be counted for the proposition that what these people are doing to your country is not right, not acceptable.

The early part of this episode (and transcript) covers some of the resistance that has been happening on the ground here, in terms of protests, rapid response, ICE patrols, and mutual aid.

Speaking for all physicians and healthcare providers here. When we see patients in need of care especially in an emergency room we do not leave them for dead. We do not care about their immigration status, we treat them because that is what we took an oath to do and is also basic human decency.
Leavitt: "When an illegal alien goes to the emergency room, who's paying for it? The American taxpayer."
@cliffhillis.bsky.social Nice work with Dennis Schocket on pop, girls, etc. Quite delicious.Thank you for the gems.
