My school's Relay for Life event was yesterday. We raised an amazing $146,888.00! The students showed spirit, determination, and community and made us all so proud.

Resilience is this bulb of purple iris. Over 30 years ago my MIL gave me all kinds of plants for our red clay yard. I planted yellow and purple irises beside the house, some bloomed for a while, then just stopped. Some years one cluster at the corner now blooms.

#MathsToday We continued working on box plots today. This set of box plots representing number of siblings in two classes always makes them scratch their heads. Where's the median for the red box plot?

A red box plot from 0 to 7 with no apparent median in the box and a blue box plot from 0 to 4 with the median at 1.5.
