How it feels reading the news every day since January 20, 2025.

SAVING SILVERMAN will always crack me up. It’s dumb in the most intentional way, and I’ll never stop loving it.

Twitter is a Nazi bar that they built another Nazi bar on top of just in case you missed the first Nazi bar. I know this is controversial but: you should not go to the double-decker Nazi bar.

Long story short, an actual Nazi doxxing ring. Enough people reported them that they went away for like 12 hours and then Elon personally brought them back. The site is dead. If you’re still on there, go lock your account right now

what even happened on the other site this time

I love this woman.

AOC: When one party wants the votes of another party. You negotiate, you come to a compromise and you pass a bill. That is schoolhouse rock. And that is how things should be

“The Curse of Michael Myers" is the perfect sequel: it takes everything subtle about the original HALLOWEEN and says, "what if we added a cult, a prophecy, and Paul Rudd whispering about evil DNA?" Every question you never asked is answered with tons of enthusiasm... and I love every minute of it.

It wasn’t perfect. It didn’t need to be. It was loud, messy, and epic. Theaters were rowdy, fans were split, and horror felt alive again. It gave us spectacle, nostalgia, and a reminder that horror can be FUN.

It's still one of the greatest theater experiences this horror fan could have asked for.

With the horror genre, I don't think we'll ever get the kind of anticipation again as we did with FREDDY VS. JASON.

It wasn't just a movie. It was a horror fans Super Bowl. The one fans dreamed of during recess when they were children. Two of the biggest horror icons finally share the screen.

I've been seeing this shared a bunch, but I'm only now actually looking at it.

What the absolute hell...

The Blumhouse Halloween trilogy kept trying to “heal trauma” when all we wanted was Michael Myers making a small-town in Illinois experience a deeply inconvenient night again. I don’t need to see "trauma closure" in a horror movie, I need a wide shot of someone realizing the back door’s open.

It's REALLY good. And yes, many tears were shed.

In today's digital age, with how far social media has become, you can’t fake that. You can’t even come close to the exhaustion, chaos, panic, and fear.

Every entry ended up worshipping Leatherface. The first one didn’t need to. The real monster was America itself.

The sequels, remakes, and prequels strictly chase shock value. The original? You could feel the sweat, smell the meat, hear the flies. It wasn’t just scary. It was filthy.

They’ll never get The Texas Chainsaw Massacre right again. Not because they don’t try... because they can’t. The original wasn’t about gore. It was about absolute decay. The heat. Rotting dreams. A world already dead and yet still moving onward.

A pure documentary about the collapse of America.

Reminder:
"Noroi: The Curse" is SO damn good.

still glad that fucking Nazi is dead, always will be, and I hope to feel this same way about all of them

They can try and reboot the franchise all they want, I'll be over here pining for a JASON X sequel.

SEQUEL IDEA:
Immediately following the events of JASON X, a rogue human-cyborg reconstructs Jason from the nanotech wreckage and debris, leading to Über-Jason hacking and slashing his way through the inhabitants of Earth 2. The more he kills, the more it's up to the cyborg to put an end to it.

A reminder, since rando bros are dropping in to announce their boycott, thinking we’re pro-AI like one of our producers.

There’s an interview going around about AI, so before there are any questions, let me state unequivocally that BLACK PHONE 2 is 100% organic. AI was not used at any stage of the filmmaking from idea generation, research, look books, writing, onscreen images - anything. We’re old school and love it.

The more I watched it, the more I enjoyed TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE BEGINNING. I actually prefer it more than the 2003 film.

I truly wish that something is integrated into social media apps someday that allows you to never see any vague short form posts when people are watching sports. Ya'll make my feed boring as hell with that shit.
