I'm...

New to these Bluesky streets.

Learning how to advocate for folks with autism, ADHD, Complex PTSD.

An empath but don't mistake my kindness for weakness.
Strange times, these
sort of an interesting illustration of Venn diagram of "objectively terrible life decision no one should emulate" and "act of principled heroism" is not two separate circles

the message that people should take away from sandwich guy is that getting blackout and picking fights with cops always ends well. I am a lawyer* and this is legal advice**

*this is disputed by the bar, whose legitimacy I do not recognize

**for the court of life, before which all are plaintiffs
That doesn't change much of what I said, TBH.
Internalized ableism is about self-hatred for being disabled.

And you said it yourself - you mapped parts of yourself onto AI, and those parts were used as part of your attack on AI. I mean, it is what it is. And what it is is the use of having ADHD as a smear.

Just don't.
There are disabled artists attacking other disabled artists actually saying "I'm disabled and don't need AI tools to make art, so no disabled people need it"

Oh course, this is the cudgel used against us for all kinds of accommodations, right.?

Internalized ableism is as bad as internalized racism
Doesn't matter if you have ADD. In fact, internalized ableism is so much worse than the regular kind because y'all really should know better.

And internalized ableism is rampant among the AI haters set. It's not just you.
Truth told, folks like Steve Bannon and Stephen Miller will probably be safer in prison given what they've unleashed on Americans and our beloved immigrant neighbors, friends, coworkers, partners, and family.

History has shown over and over again that these eras don't end well for the perpetrators.
Steve Bannon: If we lose the midterms and we lose 2028, some in this room are going to prison, myself included.
Your troll game is Charmin soft, baby boy. Too bored to pay you any more mind, so just run along now.
Like, it really shouldn't be this easy to find examples on Bluesky of AI haters being ableist.

Twitter? Sure.

But Bluesky? C'mon, y'all! Get some self-awareness and self-reflection in your lives.
Here's another one.

"AI / LLM bot has ADHD / autism / (insert disability here) hahahaha!"

Couldn't just leave it at "worst jr programmer" - had to tack on the ableist shot

They don't dare use racism, misogyny, or LGBTQ-phobia, though.

But the AI haters love them some ableism, man. Just crazy.
I basically tell ppl that using a code generating LLM is like managing the worst junior programmer w severe ADHD
Mind your business and stop gatekeeping you pathetic loser
Honestly, why can't these AI hatin bitches just not mind their own fuckin bizness?
As someone who has ADHD and autism: we don't need your fuckin permission or approval or have to justify shit to your sorry, internalized ableism-havin clown ass.
As someone who has adhd and dyslexia: using a terrible AI app to convert books into audiobooks and using ADHD/Dyslexia as a reason to justify it, is still fucked up and not a valid excuse.
And what exactly would you know about that, ya ableist gatekeeping clown?
Been seeing more ableist Anti-AI talking points recently, so I encourage ya’ll to read this: www.tumblr.com/mightyoctopu...

This post is not in encouragement of AI, but as an autistic person with ADHD, I’m tired of people resorting to bullying people instead of politely educating them.

To leverage having ADHD as a slur / joke / attack - even against a thing - is so a$sholishly ableist (redundant, yes)

Why are so many AI haters So. Damn. Ableist? Just genuinely terrible people.
Wow, AI really is human like intelligence - one with ADHD!
Love those fascist tears!
I am personally disgusted by this and would like to be on record that if I were presented with this set of facts, I would absolutely vote to convict per the judge's instructions.

The law is the law, and I have as little right to ignore that as a hypothetical prosecutor has reason to strike me.
straight-up jury nullification. this guy did it, confessed to it, and the jury instructions explicitly said that if he did it intentionally, it was assault.
I genuinely love it when they have to resort to jr high debate fallacies because they know they're wrong but can't own it.

Must suck to go through life with the emotional maturity of a 13 year old.
The uncritical abolition of AI in universities is not in the best interest of students, especially ones who are disabled and (or) neurodivergent like me.

These anti-AI zealots are just as duplicitous and conniving as the AI bro hucksters - they're all self-righteous pricks.
The uncritical adoption of AI by universities is not in the best interests of students
I wondered to what extent does MAGA realize that they're ensuring this generation of kids are by leaps amd bounds farther politically left than any other generation?
But it's also worth pointing out that universal healthcare coverage does not mean 100% of the people get 100% of their healthcare desires met. A system like that would spiral out of control in many ways for fairly obvious reasons.
Insurance companies profit by collecting premiums and denying/limiting payouts. This creates perverse incentives: delay claims, narrow coverage, increase copayments, exclude high-cost populations, etc.

Single-payor (govt) systems w/o insurance - like Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland - have UHC.
It's not "this definition" but rather the definition. You're confusing universal insurance coverage for universal healthcare coverage. If insurance is involved, then it can't result in UHC.
Bless your simple heart, but software being used for racist purposes doesn't mean you're not an ableist bigot. There is absolutely no connection between those 2 things. None. Not even a little bit.
