China has been quietly buying up land and resources for decades worldwide. (An African student of mine mentioned this 10 yrs ago.) Now its extending its influence with loans and the belt and road initiative. A dictatorship gives you better longterm planning!

Godoma has decided she's ready to become a mother – even if her chosen "baby" isn't quite ready to leave! This ex-orphan tried to kidnap her favourite dependent orphan, Baraka, one morning this month. The Keepers noticed immediately and called back all the ex-orphans so Baraka didn't have to choose.

I turned off Plunket in rage on RNZ one day, while he was interviewing Fitzsimons. He was so unnecessarily rude to a thoughtful woman. Yes, he should be regulated. Winston & Sean both enjoy being contrary & challenging.

I was astounded to discover that's from 1881, the country quota made rural seats 25%, then 28% smaller bc farmers were the backbone of the nation! Lab chged this in 1945. Angry Fed Farmers threatened to stop town milk. Like sm rural electorates, rural wards weren't challenged. Privileged still.😠
