That's at least a positive reason.

I don't usually lose track this soon into the schoolyear. It's usually when I'm exhausted and swamped in November.
Is it something in the air? I've been confused all week which day it is.

When a government CHOOSES to invoke the Notwithstanding Clause, they are communicating THEY KNOW they are infringing upon the Charter Rights of the people of the province.

They want to pass their legislation anyway.

THEY KNOW. They just don’t care about the people they were elected to represent.

After years of complaining about cancel culture, the current administration has taken it to a new and dangerous level by routinely threatening regulatory action against media companies unless they muzzle or fire reporters and commentators it doesn’t like.

I've received many messages from concerned constituents over the past 24 hours, asking me about the standing ovation connected to Charlie Kirk in yesterday's session in the House of Commons. Please see my statement on the matter.

I'm not going to pile on Pierre Poilievre when he says he fears for his family's safety because I believe he does. The Trudeaus were also put at risk many times. That said, Poilievre is extremely inflammatory. He should reflect on his own contributions. He is a big part of the problem. #CDNpoli

Please remember when you contact your MP, Mr. Scheer, or the Parliamentary Ethics Office— be civil, firm, and respectful. There’s no need to muddy the message under vitriol for a virtuous and righteous cause.

It’s ok to be angry. But…

Touch grass— write calm but true. The 🇨🇦 way.

Next time (there are going to be a lot of next times): write the headline as if it were happening in some country with an authoritarian government. It's probably appropriate.

Pre-flight checks are 90% of airline safety, just like pre-operative preparation in essential in anesthesia.

Flight attendants have to be paid. Don’t let multi-million bonus CEOs expect essential safety work for free. I support #CUPE - do better #AirCanada

The Air Canada strike is a huge deal in so many ways — and lots of them should matter to every single working Canadian.

The flight attendants are ignoring a back to work order. Canadians unions are behind them. The CUPE National President is prepared to go to jail.

Let's talk about it:

Air Canada pocketed C$1.72 B in profits last year, yet act broke when CUPE asks for pay for every hour they work, real inflation-proof raises, pension perks, and industry parity.

Air Canada is disgusting for this notification, and can eat the entirety of my ass.
Air Canada is using its app to push out anti-union messaging to passengers:

I support Air Canada workers and their strike. They deserve to make a living wage.

So, #AirCanada locked out its flight attendants, who want to be paid fairly for their work, and now @pattyhajdu.bsky.social and @mark-carney.bsky.social are ordering them back to work and forcing arbitration under CIRB, whose director worked for Air Canada for 7 yrs.

Hey, @aircanada.bsky.social, give us our #bailout money back. The fact that you give your ceo 458× the pay of your flight attendants shows very bad money management. You could easily afford to pay workers fairly, but you'd rather reward executive greed and incompetence.

The absolutely gross and obscene inequity.

Air Canada, this is disgusting!

Air Canada doesn’t pay their flight attendants for the time they’re making sure the airplane is safe to go into flight. Locking the door and securing everything, all that shit? Unpaid labour. That’s messed up.

If you’re mad that Air Canada flight attendants won’t do unpaid work for you, feel free to stop by my place & clean my toilet for free.

#Canada PLEASE ❤️🇨🇦 DO NOT TURN ON THE #FLIGHTATTENDANTS of AIR CANADA.

AIR CANADA HAD 10 years to negotiate‼️‼️‼️

This is their strategy to undermine the workers who’ve been trying for 8 months to make a deal.
