Paywalled so I can't read it, however the first thoughts that popped into my mind were:

1) Smacks of Trumpism
2) May hurt CoC donors who exploit cheap labour (silver lining!)
3) Lose tax revenue?
4) Drive vulnerable workers further into the shadows, becoming more vulnerable.

They ALWAYS throw out the stat that farming is the largest export market, failing to mention that that's GOODS exported. Farming only makes up 6-7% of GDP so it's far from "the backbone of the economy"

1. Our current Govt spending on pensions is low compared to most other advanced economies. And... [1/n]
