I’ve read Senate leaders have not wanted Platner to succeed because of his [popular] views in support of the Palestinian people. Makes sense given AIPAC, Gillibrand, and Schumer’s power in the DSCC.

It’s not that she’s not allowed to run - and if Bernie said that, I’d disagree.

The issue is the DSCC usually doesn’t endorse in the primaries. But it’s pushing Mills without talking to Platner! Dem elites imposing their judgment on voters is how we ended up with Biden running for reelection.
