Fascinated how the guy who made superstars of Matt Walsh, Candace Owens, Jordan Peterson, and Michael Knowles thought that unfettered racism and every phobia in existence wouldn't eventually include anti-semitism

In Gaza, another humanitarian crisis has emerged: the soaring displacement expenses — or, as many people in Gaza bitterly describe it, “The fees you pay to become homeless in the south.” Tents cost $1,000 and securing a patch of land to pitch it on can be almost as costly.
Israel’s “Safe Zones” in Gaza Offer No Safety. Many Can’t Afford to Flee Anyway.
Displacement costs, which many call “the fees you pay to become homeless in the south,” have reached nearly $5,000.

"I think it is statutory law"

It IS.

He's the fucking Speaker of the House and he can't say that definitively?
Speaker Johnson appears to say furloughed federal workers should get back pay under 2019 law

"It has always been the case. It is tradition and I think it is statutory law that federal employees be paid. And that’s my position."

NEW: I spoke to clergy and faith leaders who've joined protests at the Chicago-area ICE facility.

Three say they've been shot with pepper balls, sometimes while praying.

All say ICE is also violating their religious freedom, and one is arguing it in court. religionnews.com/2025/10/07/i...

So, that was when I knew, this dingle was tryna end my life, so I hit the breaks hard and I as went past him in his cab I saw him YELLING at me. I get behind him and then accelerate in the middle lane, and this dude is HANGING OUT HIS WINDOW flipping me of and screaming. It was uncouth for sure
Well as I slide into the right lane this dude leaves his turn signal on and also starts to slide into the right lane. In case you didn't know, there are no more lanes, all I have is NOT ROAD left so I try speeding up. Well, HE starts speeding up, so I slow down...and then HE starts to slow down. OH
Basically, I attempted to pass a truck on the right when we were both in the left lane. Maybe a jerk move, but not worthy of death surely. I got into the middle lane and as I start to pass this dude pops on HIS turn signal and starts to move into the lane toward me. I don't panic, I just slide over
Had an older gentleman in a work truck with a trailer attempt to run me off the road earlier today and while I handled myself with aplomb that shit was scary and I did not like it.

In the wake of Donald Trump's security directive aimed at criminalizing anti-fascism, we can expect to see federal agents use entrapment strategies to attempt to disrupt social movements.

Read about how earlier movements have experienced and dealt with entrapment:

The government is in full shutdown and the Republicans are refusing to call the House back into session.

Want to know why?

Because we have secured the final vote on releasing the Epstein Files and they don’t want it out.

Call GOP and tell them to swear in @adelitaforcongress.bsky.social.
Not to make it all about us, but we have a new drop in honor of the Philadelphia Society of Future Vampires getting back together

I hate the ways that my brain will get conceptually distracted as I am writing something. lately I have been trying to get back into writing regularly through a specific piece. I began it with a clear thesis I was working toward, yet each new idea leads down a new path of though and I get lost.

Hi, this is your friendly business reporter, reminding you if you *need* anything, to buy it sooner than later, including secondhand, due to expected price increases from new tariffs. If you have family in other countries and plan to visit them at Christmas, I would also ship smaller items there.
