JUST IN: The University of Arizona has rejected a deal from the White House that would give the school preferential treatment for federal funding as long as they follow certain Trump administration guidelines.

Letters were sent to nine universities, asking them to agree to a series of demands in return for expanded access to funding. Since then, other schools were also asked to take part in the agreement.
