Bluesky 2023 when we had to reskeet ourselves 50 times a day so the other 9 people had something to read when they logged in

Somebody was paid to design this, somebody else was paid to develop it, and their boss was paid to approve this development. Nobody in that conga-line shot this down for completely disregarding anything but the car itself

Why burn one car when you can burn down an entire forest.

Let's not forget, this is supposed to be used when the batteries are on fire. Imagine seeing a burning car that then yeets a flaming brick at you.

I'd love to see the notes from the meeting that decided this and all the massive liability was cheaper than non-exploding batteries

Lawyers, we don't need no stinkin' lawyers. All they tell us it that we can't do things that we can clearly do.

This. Straight into pedestrians. Under other uninvolved cars with gas tanks.

Yeah I saw this and immediately thought “make it someone else’s problem.” Wouldn’t this most likely turn a would-be carbeque into a massive house fire?

If the burning house is outside the car the car is safe to drive

“The Defense Department has confiscated the badges of the Pentagon reporters from virtually every major media organization in America,” the Pentagon Press Association said

Oct. 15, 2025
PENTAGON PRESS ASSOCIATION
STATEMENT
Today, the Defense Department confiscated the badges of the Pentagon reporters from virtually every major media organization in America. It did this because reporters would not sign onto a new media policy over its implicit threat of criminalizing national security reporting and exposing those who sign it to potential prosecution.
The Pentagon Press Association's members are still committed to reporting on the U.S. military. But make no mistake, today, Oct. 15, 2025 is a dark day for press freedom that raises concerns about a weakening U.S. commitment to transparency in governance, to public accountability at the Pentagon and to free speech for all.

In 2023, a program connecting Utah farmers and ranchers to free therapy vouchers was so successful, the federal money ran out in four months.

“I want you to know,” the program director recalled one recipient telling him, “that this saved my life.”

Utah Farmers Signed Up for Federally Funded Therapy. Then the Money Stopped.
Farmers are dying by suicide at the third-highest rate by vocation in Utah. But after a federal program offering mental health support ran out of money, the state did not continue it.
